Golden Rule Charity provides aid to hospitality employees affected by unanticipated hardship, whether it’s a family emergency, natural disaster, or medical need. Thanks to the generosity of the Sun Family Foundation, Golden Rule Charity continues to accept new grant applications for those working in the restaurant, hotel, and hospitality industries experiencing hardship in Orange County, California. - Applicants must be continuously employed in the hospitality industry (examples include: restaurants, bars, hotels, breweries) for a minimum of 6 months prior to application date.
- Current hardship must have occurred in the past 60 days of application date.
- 18 years of age or older.
The current grant cycle will automatically close when the number of qualified grant applications exceeds this quarter’s funding threshold.
